The very durable rubber compound in the center of the tread convinces with low rolling resistance and is complemented on the sides by a grippy compound that provides best cornering grip even in wet conditions. Reflective stripes on the sidewalls increase safety in poor visibility. With its high stability at low weight, the Overdrive Excel is also very suitable for e-Bikes with support up to 25 km/h.
Dual Compound | Two different rubber compounds are processed into one tread strip. Maxxis develops the ratio of the compounds according to the desired characteristics of each tire.
SilkShield | SilkShield offers the proven Silkworm protection layer all around and thus prevents cuts and other damage on the tire sidewalls and under the tread.
